Set in the picturesque meadow at South overwoods near Dorchester, come and learn how to paint your very own folk art rose.
I will show you the fundamental brush strokes to use for this style of traditional painting and how to prepare the enamel paint just right. 
You will get to take away your very own slate coaster with a rose that you have painted and knowledge on how to do it again.
The workshop will run from 11 - 4pm with time to stop for tea and cake.
If you would like to make a full weekend of it, there is camping available and I am also teaching a woollen peg loom workshop on the Sunday morning.
There are miles of woodland footpaths to explore with a pub that's within walking distance. 
Compost toilets are on site and fire pits to use 
Vans and dogs are also welcome.
